ITASCA is one of four interior murals designed for the headquarters of a large financial company in Dallas, Texas. This series of works focuses on a modern take on Texas aesthetics. In particular, ITASCA was inspired by the textile arts, which actually share a close link with the earliest “computers”, the Jacquard loom. The introduction of glitchy features bridges the gap between that early machinery and 21st century computation.
